Balochistan Court questions posting grade 11 employee on grade 17

News Desk :

Balochistan High Court (BHC) has questioned the Irrigation Department regarding the posting of grade 11 employee on grade 17. A division bench of the BHC comprising Chief Justice, Mr. Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan, and Mr. Justice Abdul Hameed Baloch passed these remarks on a constitutional petition filed in this regard.

The Irrigation department has posted a grade 11 employee as Sub Divisional Officer (SDO) Manjo Shori. Secretary Irrigation should explain this order, the bench directed. This is a clear violation of the court’s order. The court can also initiate contempt of court proceedings against the Secretary Irrigation department.

Why did the Irrigation department fail to submit a reply in this regard? The Secretary should personally appear before the court in this regard, the court-ordered.
