The police vehicle damaged in the attack

QUETTA: At least seven people were injured in a blast in the Brewery Road area of the city on Thursday evening. Police sources said unknown miscreants lobbed a hand at a vehicle of the security forces. The blast left seven people injured.

The miscreants escaped from the spot. Police were quick at the scene and the injured were shifted to the Bolan Medical Complex Hospital (BMCH) for medical treatment. An emergency was declared in the hospital to provide medical treatment to injured of the blast.

The vehicle was also damaged in the attack. Security was tightened in and around the city in the aftermath of the blast that rocked the provincial capital.
