Be aware of fake NAB officers in Balochistan

QUETTA: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has received information that some elements are making calls to officers wanted in corruption cases on behalf of the organization. The fake/bogus officers portray themselves as the Director-General NAB and call the officers whose cases are pending and other government servants, the Spokesman NAB said in a statement.
He said NAB’s intelligence wing has already launched an action against the gang involved in making calls to NAB accused and government officers. “Officers should pay no heed to such calls”, the Spokesman said. He stated that NAB has its own method of investigation and it calls the accused in any case during the day as per the law.
Chairman NAB Justice (R) Javed Iqbal had taken the notice of such calls and directed the intelligence wing to apprehend the culprits behind this. In the case of receiving such a call, the NAB accused and government officers should immediately inform the NAB office, the Spokesman concluded.
