Bushra Rind resigns as BAP woman wing organizer

QUETTA: Bushra Rind, the member provincial assembly from the ruling Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) has resigned as organizer women wing on Saturday night. “She has resigned because of differences over distribution of portfolios”, well-placed sources within the ruling party told Quetta Voice.

Bushra Rind took to social media network Twitter and announced her resignation as the BAP women organizer. Her resignation has come a day before the oath-taking of a 14-member cabinet oath-taking. The new cabinet would take oath today (Sunday) at Governor’s House Balochistan.

“Bushra Rind was demanding a ministry”, the sources said. Chief Minister Balochistan, Abdul Quddus Bizenjo has turned down her demand for the allotment of the portfolio. “She is not among the 14-member cabinet taking oath today”, the sources revealed.

Bushra Rind had served as the parliamentary secretary on information during former chief minister Jam Kamal Khan’s government in the province.
