BHC suspends FIR order against CM Balochistan

Balochistan High Court (BHC) suspended the order of session court Quetta regarding registration of FIR against Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan. A division bench of BHC comprising Mr. Justice Ejaz Khan Swati and Mr. Justice Zaheer Uddin Kakar suspended the order.

Additional Session Judge Quetta, Muhammad Afzal Kakar ordered the Bijli road police station to register FIR against CM Balochistan and Senior Superintendent of Police Quetta the other day.

Munir Ahmed Kakar Advocate and Ayub Tareen Advocate appeared before the court on behalf of the SSP operation before the bench. The Session Court also admitted that no role of CM Balochistan and SSP was found on June 18.

Opposition lawmakers had accused CM Balochistan and SSP operation of directing police to use force against them. The charge was vehemently denied by the Chief Executive of the province.

The opposition lawmakers have however demanded of the police station to register FIR against CM Balochistan and SSP Quetta.
