Mother of Nawaz Sharif passes away

The mother of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif died on Sunday. A leader of Pakistan Muslim League (N), Atta Tarar on Twitter confirmed the death of Shamim Akhtar, the mother of former premier Nawaz Sharif and PML (N) President Shehbaz Sharif.

The mother of the former premier died in London. She was there for medical treatment. The PML N sources said the party has not made any decision about the exact time of burial of Shamim Akthar, the mother of the PML N leader.

The former prime minister Nawaz Sharif is already in London.

Prime Minister, Imran Khan has expressed condolence over the demise of the mother of former premier Nawaz Sharif. He prayed that may Allah Almighty rest the departed soul in peace and give patience to the family members.
