TLP Chief Khadim Rizvi passes away

Chief of Tahrik  Labaik Pakistan (TLP) Khadim Rizvi died on Thursday evening. Family sources said Khadim Rizvi was suffering from fever for the last few days. He breathed his last today in Lahore. Khadim Rizvi was recently leading a TLP protest march towards Islamabad.

Hamza, the TLP Spokesman stated that Khadim Hussain Rizvi was suffering from a fever. “The Maulana was facing difficulty in breathing”, he mentioned. The spokesperson added that Rizvi was at his madressah on Multan Road when his condition deteriorated on Thursday evening. He was subsequently rushed to the Farooq Hospital in Iqbal Town, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Rizvi was later taken to Sheikh Zayed Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead, said Saad Rizvi, son of Khadim Hussain Rizvi.

Khadim Rizvi 

Khadim Rizvi was born on 22 June, in 1966 in the Taka Toot area of Punjab province. He got initial education from Jehlum. The TLP Chief belonged to Attock.  A Hafiz-e-Quran and Sheikh-ul-Hadith, Rizvi used to deliver Friday sermons at Lahore’s Pir Makki Masjid, located near Daata Darbar, during his time in the Punjab Auqaf Department.

Prime Minister, Imran Khan in a condolence message expressed deep concern over the demise of the TLP leader. On social media networks, people expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of Khadim Hussain Rizvi, the TLP leader.
