In an intelligence-based operation on 22 January 2024, a fierce firefight erupted in the Sambaza Sector, Zhob District, near the Pakistan-Afghan border. Pakistani security forces effectively surrounded and engaged a group of fleeing terrorists, resulting in the elimination of seven individuals involved in terrorist activities against both security forces and innocent civilians.
The successful operation not only saw the demise of these notorious terrorists but also led to the recovery of a significant cache of arms, ammunition, and explosives. The swift and coordinated response by the Pakistani troops highlights their commitment to eradicating the menace of terrorism.
