TURBAT: Unidentified assailants targeted the convoy of National Party candidate and former minister Lala Rashid, along with Senator Kehda Akram Dashti, in the Dasht Khadan area. The assailants opened fire on the convoy, specifically targeting Lala Rashid and Senator Dashti. Fortunately, the advanced bulletproof technology of their vehicle thwarted the attack, with the bullets striking the front glass but causing no injuries.

The incident occurred amidst heightened tensions in the area, as this comes shortly after the unfortunate attack on former Senator Aslam Bilidi, a candidate of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz in the National Assembly. Bilidi sustained injuries in an attack that took place in Turbat.

In response to the latest incident, local authorities and security forces swiftly reached the scene, initiating a thorough investigation into the matter. The motive behind the attack remains unclear, and efforts are underway to identify and apprehend the perpetrators responsible for this brazen act of violence against political figures.
