Asif Ali Zardari addressing PPP workers convention in Turbat

DERA BUGTI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman and former president Asif Ali Zardari has pledged to address longstanding issues in Balochistan, specifically in the Sui area. Speaking at an election meeting in Dera Bugti through a video link, Zardari assured the public that, if elected, his party would lay a gas pipeline in the region, providing a solution to one of the pressing concerns.

Former Caretaker Federal Interior Minister Sarfaraz Bugti, former Balochistan Education Minister Naseebullah Marri, and other party leaders also addressed PPP supporters in the Baikar area of Dera Bugti district in the province. “People of Dera Bugti stand for PPP,” said Sarfaraz Bugti, the former federal minister who recently joined the party.

PPP President Expresses Resolve To Solve Issues In Dera Bugti

During his address, the PPP Co-Chairman expressed his commitment to resolving various challenges faced by the people of Balochistan. He emphasized that upon winning the elections, the PPP would form a government dedicated to tackling issues ranging from healthcare to other local concerns. Zardari highlighted the party’s comprehensive manifesto, emphasizing its dedication to alleviating the problems faced by the residents of Balochistan.

In addition to the gas pipeline initiative, Zardari announced plans to generate employment opportunities for the local population in the Dera Bugti area of Balochistan. Recognizing the significance of addressing economic issues, he promised to prioritize the concerns of the people in the region.

Benefits Of Gas To Be Shared With Locals

Acknowledging the importance of fair resource distribution, Asif Zardari assured the residents that the PPP would ensure that the benefits from the gas fields in the area would be shared with the local community. Despite being unable to attend the meeting due to adverse weather conditions, Zardari expressed regret and assured party workers that he would visit the region soon.
