ISLAMABAD: At least 14 soldiers were martyred in a terrorist attack in Balochistan’s Gwadar district on Friday, the military’s media wing said.

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR)  said 2 vehicles of security forces moving from Pasni to Ormara in Gwadar District, were ambushed by the terrorists. 14 soldiers embraced Shahadat in the unfortunate incident.

Sanitization operation is being carried out in the area and perpetrators of this heinous act will be hunted down & brought to justice, the ISPR said.

Force Determined to Eliminate The Menace of Terrorism

The security forces of Pakistan are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve, the statement issued by the military’s media wing said.

Caretaker Chief Minister Balochistan, Ali Mardan Domki strongly condemned the terrorist attack and vowed that the terrorists behind the attack would be brought to justice. He paid rich tribute to the brave soldiers who laid down their lives to defend the motherland.

Jamali, Bugti Condemn The Attack

Balochistan Caretaker Home Minister, Mir Zubair Jamali also condemned the terrorist incident and said that the terrorists behind the attack would not be spared. Mr. Jamali said security forces have rendered great sacrifices during the fight against the menace of terrorism in the country.

Caretaker Interior Minister, Sarfaraz Bugti also condemned the terrorist attack. In a statement issued after the attack, he said the government would not spare the terrorists behind this heinous crime and terrorism.
