QUETTA: In a significant move, the Caretaker Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Ali Mardan Khan Domki, has announced the successful completion of preparations for the issuance of health cards in the province. The initiative is set to revolutionize healthcare access for the residents of Balochistan, ensuring quality medical services at government healthcare facilities.

Health Card Booths Set Up In Hospitals

Several renowned hospitals, including Sheikh Zayed Hospital, Akram Hospital, and Sajid Hospital, have set up health card booths, making it easier for the public to register for this essential healthcare service. Residents can now conveniently register by sending their card numbers to 8500.

A Longstanding Demand Met

Expressing his satisfaction with the progress made, Caretaker Chief Minister Mir Ali Mardan Khan Domki emphasized the government’s commitment to providing top-tier healthcare facilities to the people. This initiative comes as a result of proactive measures taken by the caretaker government to address pending healthcare issues in the region.

The issuance of health cards is poised to begin, marking a significant step toward a healthier and more secure future for the people of Balochistan. This development signifies a major stride in enhancing public healthcare accessibility and is set to positively impact the lives of many residents in the province.

Up To Rs. 1 Million For Every Family

Former Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan had taken this initiative to improve health services in the province. He had repeatedly stated that health cards would address the medical treatment issue of the common man. “Health cards up to Rs. 1 million would be issued to every Balochistani”, the former CM mentioned.
