QUETTA: Security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the general area of Sambaza, Zhob District, on the reported presence of terrorists, the military’s media wing said.
During the conduct of the operation, terrorists were surrounded and after an intense exchange of fire, five terrorists were sent to hell, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Monday evening.

Major Syed Ali Raza Shah embraced martyrdom

However, in the ensuing exchange of fire, Major Syed Ali Raza Shah (Age 31 years, resident of Sargodha District), who was leading the operation from the front, and Havaldar Nisar Ahmed (Age 38 years, resident of Vehari District), having fought gallantly, paid the ultimate sacrifice and embraced Shahadat.

Security forces of Pakistan are indebted & proud of our brave men and pay homage to their chivalry and sacrifices for the motherland, which further strengthens our resolve to uproot the menace of terrorism from the country. Sanitization of the surrounding areas is being conducted to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area.

CM Balochistan condemns the attack

Caretaker Chief Minister Balochistan, Ali Mardan Domki strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Zhob district of the province. In a condemnation statement, the CM said security personnel have embraced martyrdom during their fight against terrorists.

He said the perpetrators of the terrorist attack would be brought to justice.
