QUETTA: A Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) personnel was killed in a firing incident in the Jail Road area of Quetta on Saturday night. Police sources said unknown accused opened fire and killed a CTD head constable identified as Saeed Ahmed on Jail Road Quetta.

The assailants sped away on their motorcycle after the attack. The dead body of the CTD personnel was shifted to civil hospital Quetta. Senior police and other law enforcement agencies personnel reached the spot and started an investigation into the incident.

Police sources said the incident seems to be an act of targeted killing in the provincial capital.
