QUETTA: Unknown miscreants lobbed a hand grenade at policemen in the Sariab Road area of the city. The attack left two civilians injured. However, policemen were unhurt in the attack, police sources said.
The civilians were standing close to policemen when hand grenade exploded close to them, police said.
The injured people were rushed to the hospital for medical treatment.
The attackers sped away on their motorcycle after the attack. Police reached the spot as an investigation into the incident went underway.
