A total of 13 cases of snake-biting were reported from Balochistan’s troubled Dera Bugti district in a day. Surprising increase in snake bite incidents In the last 24 hours, a youth died due to snake bite while twelve were injured, residents of the area claimed.

The injured were rushed to the hospital, hospital sources said, adding that the injured were provided with medical treatment.

Medical Superintendent DHQ Dera Bugti Dr. Juma Khan Bugti said his team tried hard to save the young man’s life including giving snakebite vaccine, but unfortunately, the young man could not survive while others injured due to snake bite.

It was said that the relationship was from the areas of Tehsil Pehlawagh where they were out of danger after receiving first aid and anti-venom vaccine.
