KARACHI: Security forces killed all 4 terrorists who wanted to storm inside the Karachi Stock and Exchange compound on Monday. Security forces timely retaliated in the aftermath of gun and grenade attacks in the country’s financial hub.
A sub-inspector and two security guards were martyred in the attack. Seven people, including three police officials, have been injured, a statement issued by Karachi police said.
The attackers, armed with grenades and automatic rifles, launched the attack a little before 10 am and attempted to enter the PSX compound. Police and Rangers officials arrived at the scene soon after the attack and killed all four attackers, Sindh Rangers said. A clearance operation is underway in the vicinity.

Police surgeon Dr Qarar Ahmed Abbasi said that seven bodies and seven injured, including policemen, have been brought at the Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi.
Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan, home minister Balochistan, Mir Ziaullah Langove, finance minister, Mir Zahoor Buledi and other high ups strongly condemned the terrorist incident. In their separate statements, they vowed that the government would not bow down before a handful of terrorists playing with the lives of innocent people.
