Chief Justice, Balochistan High Court (BHC), Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhail has been tested positive for coronavirus the other day. A well-placed official in the BHC told the daily Quetta Voice that the Chief Justice has quarantined himself at his residence and has been performing his duties from there. The official declined to be  named since he was not authorized to speak to the media.

“CJ BHC is battling the virus and his condition is improving”, the official stated. It may be mentioned here that Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhail was heading a bench hearing the Coronavirus case in the BHC. Senior lawyers of the province had filed a petition in the court regarding the outbreak of the pandemic.
