In Balochistan, 51 doctors have been tested positive for the novel coronavirus. 4 nurses and 35 health professionals have also been tested positive for the novel coronavirus, the National Health Services data shared on social media revealed.

The Balochistan province has so far confirmed 1136 cases of COVID-19 with 16 deaths. However, 183 patients have recovered in the province. The data shows that 58 doctors have been tested positive in Punjab and 51 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 36 doctors have been tested positive in Sindh province.

The virus has been confirmed among 216 doctors across the country battling the virus. 61 nurses and 161 health professionals have contracted the virus across the country, the National Health Services data said.

Doctors across the country have demanded of the federal and provincial governments to provide the personal protective equipment in the battle against the COVID19. The Young Doctors Balochistan have also demanded of the provincial government to establish a separate isolation facility for the doctors and health professionals contracting the virus. “This time the families of infected doctors are also in danger”, Dr. Rahim Babar, the YDA Spokesman said.
