KOHLU: Five persons of a family died when the roof of a house collapsed in Balochistan’s Dukki district on Sunday evening. The roof of the house was collapsed as a result of continued rainfall in the Hosri area of Dukki district, levies official Nawaz Zarkoon said.

He said the dead include two women and three children. However, the family head Dost Ali was also injured in the roof collapse and was shifted to hospital for medical treatment. A fresh spell of rainfall continued on Sunday in Quetta and other northern part of Balochistan.

Mr. Zarkoon said rescue operation was launched by levies to retrieve the dead bodies from the debris of collapsed house.
