PakAfghan border: 187KM fencing completed: Home Minister

Home Minister Balochistan, Mir Ziaullah Langove on Monday said 187Km fencing of Pak-Afghan border Chaman. As a part of consultative meeting, the Minister chaired an important meeting regarding the fencing of the border in Chaman, Pakistan’s bordering city with Afghanistan.
“Fencing of border will stop illegal movement at the border”, Mr. Langove said.
The Additional Chief Secretary (Home), Hafiz Basit, Commissioner Quetta Division, deputy commissioner Killa Abdullah and other security officials attended the meeting.
The meeting thoroughly reviewed grievances of people and assured to address them on a priority basis. The Minister directed the concerned quarters to make sure timely completion of their tasks.
“It is the priority of the government to expedite the process of fencing”, Mr. Langove stated. He said the present government committed to promote development and address the issues of people living in bordering areas.
“Fencing of the border is in the interest of both countries”, the Minister noted. He said the two countries enjoy cordial relations.

Home Minister Balochistan said the people living near the border would be taken on board while making important decisions.
The meeting also reviewed decisions made during earlier meetings.
