PISHIN: In a passionate address to a rally in Pishin, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the Central Amir of JUI, delivered a stirring message of defiance and unity, challenging the legitimacy of the February 8, 2024, election results and calling for a collective stand against electoral injustice.

Addressing the crowd as the “Awami Assembly,” Maulana Fazlur Rehman asserted his role as the people’s representative, emphasizing his commitment to their trust and support despite his prolonged absence from Pishin. He expressed gratitude for the unwavering faith of the people, attributing it to their shared struggle against electoral malpractice.

Citing alleged instances of electoral rigging in both the 2018 and 2024 elections, Maulana Fazlur Rehman condemned the manipulation of democratic processes and reiterated JUI’s unwavering stance against injustice. He rallied JUI workers to continue their fight for truth and justice, vowing never to relent in their pursuit of electoral integrity.

Drawing on historical and religious symbolism, Maulana Fazlur Rehman invoked the spirit of courage and resilience, urging politicians to prioritize the nation’s welfare over personal ambitions. He rejected the notion of internal conflicts within the political sphere, attributing discord to external manipulation by the establishment.

In a stark rebuke to political adversaries, Maulana Fazlur Rehman denounced the politics of cowardice and underscored the importance of upholding constitutional principles and democratic norms. He warned against the erosion of democracy and pledged to stand firm in defense of fundamental rights and freedoms.

Asserting that the struggle for democracy transcends individual interests, Maulana Fazlur Rehman called for a united front against authoritarianism and electoral misconduct. He demanded transparency regarding alleged financial inducements in the Balochistan Assembly and urged politicians to prioritize national interests over personal gain.

As chants of support reverberated through the rally grounds, Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s impassioned plea for unity and justice resonated with attendees, signaling a renewed sense of determination in the face of electoral adversity.
