News Desk:

The Women Action Forum (WAF) Quetta expresses unwavering solidarity with the courageous women and girls leading a historic month-long protest in Balochistan. The unprecedented peaceful long march from Turbat to Islamabad, organized by women from interior Balochistan, marks a significant moment in Pakistan’s history.

Paying tribute to the passion and perseverance of the protesting women, children, and men, all hailing from missing persons’ families, WAF Quetta calls upon the government and relevant authorities to heed their demands for justice.

As the demonstrators faced numerous hardships during their journey through different cities, they were greeted with support from civil society along the way. Presently, they continue their sit-in protest at the Islamabad Press Club, steadfast in their pursuit of rights and justice for the oppressed families.

WAF Quetta urges a compassionate response, emphasizing the critical need for the government to listen attentively and fulfill the legitimate demands of these resilient protesters.
