QUETTA: A woman was killed and another two injured when unknown accused opened fire in the Hazar Ganji area of the provincial capital on Thursday.
One woman was dead on the spot
Police sources said unknown accused on a motorcycle attacked women in Hazar Ganji. One woman was killed on the spot, whereas, two women sustained injuries.
Injured women rushed to hospital
The injured women were rushed to the Bolan Medical Hospital for medical treatment. The accused sped away on their motorcycle after the attack.
Police reached the spot
Police reached the spot as an investigation into the incident went underway.
The Caretaker Balochistan Home Minister, Captain (R) Mir Zubair Jamali strongly condemned the attack and directed police to arrest the culprits involved in the attack.
In a statement issued after the incident, Mr. Jamali expressed grief over the incident and said that the terrorists would be brought to justice.
