Police man injured in Qambrani Road Quetta attack

QUETTA: A police constable was injured in an armed attack on Quetta’s Qambrani Road on Tuesday morning. Police sources said unknown accused opened fire and injured a police constable. The injured policeman was rushed to the civil hospital Quetta for medical treatment.

The attackers sped away on their motorcycle after the attack. Police reached the spot and started an investigation into the incident. The injured constable was identified as Bashir Ahmed, a resident of the Dera Bugti district.

The motive behind the attack could not be ascertained.
