QUETTA: Unknown accused lobbed a hand grenade at the residence of Balochistan Irrigation Minister, Asadullah Baloch in in the Panjgur district of the province. Police sources said the hand grenade lobbed by the miscreants landed at the residence of Mr. Baloch.
The attackers escaped unhurt from the spot. Police and other law enforcement agencies reached the spot as an investigation into the incident went underway.
Balochistan National Party (Awami) Central Secretary General Saeed Faiz Baloch and Information Secretary Dr. Nashanas Lahri have condemned the hand grenade attack on the house of the party chief, Mir Asadullah Baloch last night and said that the government should take notice of the incident and investigate and bring the involved elements to justice.
He expressed these views during a joint press conference with other officials at the Quetta Press Club on Sunday. He said that Mir Asadullah Baloch is a national leader who has always started politics from the grassroots level and has reached this position.
