As a part of ongoing reforms in the traffic police, the Balochistan police department changed the uniform of traffic police in Quetta on Thursday. The traffic police would formally wear a new grey colour uniform from July 14 (Friday), Behram Mandokhail, the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) said.

The government has also launched a reformed process in the traffic police to address the issue of traffic-jam and grievances of the masses in Quetta. “Citizens would submit their challans online rather than going to banks”, Mr. Mandokhail said.

A number of initiatives have been taken to reform the traffic police in Quetta.
