Commander Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) Balochistan, Brigadier Adnan Danish on Saturday said that 32 tons of drugs were burnt in the province. He expressed these views while addressing members of Quetta Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Brigadier Adnan Danish, the commander of the Balochistan Narcotics Force, has said that they are following a policy of zero tolerance against those who manufacture, use and smuggle drugs. And they are busy all the time to prevent pregnancy.
Earlier, Chamber of Commerce and Industry Quetta Balochistan President Haji Abdullah Achakzai, Senior Vice President Haji Agha Gul Khalji, Vice President Syed Abdul Ahad Agha and others visited Anti-Narcotics Force Balochistan Commander Brigadier Adnan Danish.
65 tons of drug were seized in 193 operations: Brigadier Adnan
In 2022, 65 tons of drugs were seized in 193 operations and dozens of accused were arrested. So far this year, 61 tons of drugs have been seized in various operations and 121 accused have been arrested so far. In total 2302 operations, 2177 tons of drugs have been recovered, 12 of our soldiers have lost their lives in the mentioned operations, while many others have also been injured.
He requested to inform the officials and members of the Chamber regarding import, storage and transportation and said that by knowing the legal complications in this regard, the importers can play their role for the development and stability of the country by doing business in a good way. He appreciated the services of the Anti-Narcotics Force in relation to drug prevention and expressed hope that the officers and personnel of the force will continue to perform their services diligently in the future.
