At least seven tribesmen were killed in a firing incident in Balochistan’s Zhob district on Thursday. Levies sources said armed men attacked and killed seven tribesmen in the Ghorlam area of Zhob district.

Levies sources said armed men attacked the vehicle of tribal elder Ahmed Kibzai. The assailants escaped unhurt from the spot. The dead bodies were shifted to a nearby hospital. Levies and a large number of tribesmen reached the spot after the incident.

Panic prevailed in the area in the aftermath of the killings. More levies personnel were deployed in the area to maintain the law and order situation. The motive behind the attack could not be ascertained immediately.
