Unknown accused attacked students inside the Sariab Road Lowar Karez Library on Saturday evening. Students were also injured in the attack.
“We are investigating the incident”, a police official said. He requested anonymity. The images of the injured students also went viral on social media. People belonging to various walks of life strongly condemned the incident and demanded of the police to arrest the culprits behind the attack.
The attackers escaped unhurt from the spot. “Concerned police have been directed to take action against the responsible people”, Aurangzaib Badini, a senior officer at the Balochistan Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD) said.
