The Central leader of the Balochistan National Party (BNP), Malik Abdul Wali Kakar was sworn in as the new Governor of Balochistan on Sunday evening. Chief Justice Balochistan High Court (BHC), Mr. Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan administered oath to the newly appointed Governor of the province.
Provincial ministers, judges of the Balochistan hour court, members of the provincial assembly, leaders of various political parties, and a large number of people belonging to various walks of life participated in the oath-taking ceremony.
President Dr. Arif Alvi appointed Mr.Kakar as the Governor of Balochistan after Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif sent the summary for final approval and signature the other day.
