A levies man was killed when armed accused attacked a levies station in Chaman, Pakistan’s bordering city with Afghanistan.

A senior administration official told Daily Quetta Voice the terrorists attacked a levies station in the Killi Sohbat Khan area of Chaman district. He preferred not to be named.

He said a levies man deployed inside the thana embraced martyrdom. The attackers escaped unhurt from the spot. Levies and personnel of the frontier corps reached the spot as an investigation into the incident went underway.

Security was tightened in and around the bordering city in the aftermath of the terrorist attack. Terrorists in the area have repeatedly targeted law enforcement agencies’ personnel in the area.
