RO Dera Bugti convy attacked, one levies man killed

The convoy of the Retaining Officer (RO) Dera Bugti was attacked by an unknown accused in the Phelawagh area on Thursday. According to the initial reports of the incident, one Levies personnel was killed while three others were left injured.

Levies sources told that the injured were shifted to Dera Bugti Headquarters Hospital so that they can get timely treatment. “After first aid, the patients were shifted to Welfare Hospital Sui”, a senior administration official told Daily Quetta Voice. This incident has come on the eve of the election of chairmen and vice chairmen of municipal committees in Dera Bugti and other districts of Balochistan.

Levies officials reached the spot as an investigation into the incident went underway. There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
