News Desk:

The Integrity Icon awarded Dr. Shair Zaman, the consultant Endocrinologist at Bolan Medical College, Quetta, the best civil servant award. He was declared one of the five best civil servants by the Integrity Icon across Pakistan. A ceremony was held in Islamabad to encourage and motivate the best civil servants in the country.

Dr. Zaman defines integrity as a way to serve in a most responsible and professional manner, to the most vulnerable and those without the power to influence you. Integrity Icon Pakistan is a national movement- on the ground, online, and through the media- to celebrate and encourage honest government officials across the country.

We want to move away from “naming and shaming” corrupt public officials and towards “naming and faming” those public servants that are working with integrity and honesty with a focus to improve public service delivery in their respective domains. Only by creating a positive conversation about values-driven governance and by supporting heroes, doing the right thing, we push for a collective shift in mindsets in Pakistan.
