QUETTA: Chairman Pashtoonkhwa Milli Awami Party (PKMAP), Mehmood Khan Achakzai sacked former senator Raza Muhammad Raza and former provincial minister Ubaidullah Jan Babat over violation of party policy. In a statement signed by the PKMAP chief Mahmood Khan Achakzai, the two central leaders of the party have been sacked and their basic membership is terminated.

Raza Muhammad Raza and Ubaidullah Jan Babat are the two main central leaders of the party. There was no immediate reaction from the two leaders sacked by the party chief.

Their basic membership and position are terminated and they will have no connection with PKMAP after today 11 November 2022. It has been said in the statement that these two gentlemen were in contact with some senior leaders of the party to form their own separate party or to join another party.

The above-mentioned persons were also continuously engaged against the member parties of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), a political front formed with the will and approval of the party. Despite the party’s policies and alliances, they continued to issue statements in public meetings against party policy, the party statement stated.

In the meeting of the executive committee of the main body of the party held on 19 January 2022, of which these two men were ex-officio members, they were warned after a long discussion to reform themselves, but they failed to do so.

Subsequently, both members basic memberships have been terminated, the statement concluded.
