Blast kills one and injured seven in Awaran Balochistan

GWADAR: At least five people including a child and two brothers were killed in a mud-sliding incident in the coastal area of Jewni district Gwadar on Sunday. ” Rescue operation was started suddenly after receiving the information of the incident”, Deputy Commissioner Gwadar, Ezat Nazeer said.

According to the sources, six people came under the mud boulder when they were on a picnic and fishing in the coastal area of the Jewni town of Gwader. The concerned authorities including the Pak Army and Navy took part in the rescue operation.

The rescue operation is stopped as a result of high tides, sources mentioned. “So far we have found the dead body of a child and an injured”, the DC Gwadar told. The rescue operation will again start in the morning, and there is no chance to survive the people who are buried under the mud.
