At least 10 people including a woman were injured in a traffic accident near the Kalat Degree College. The accident occurred at the college cross where 9 cars collided with each other.
The injured were rushed to the District Headquarters Hospital Kalat where they received first aid treatment immediately. The cars of the Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) Hydro Union were moving in a convoy when they collided, fortunately, no casualties were reported.
The convoy was going to participate in the oath-taking ceremony of the Hydro Union, where one of the cars collided with a motorcycle. A woman with the motorcycle rider was seriously injured.
On receiving the information the Levies Force took the injured to Karkh Hospital. The injured received first aid and then were shifted to Khuzdar Teaching Hospital by ambulance.
