CHAMAN: Parliamentary leader Awami National Party (ANP), Asghar Khan Achakzai on Sunday said the Chief Minister Mir Quddus Bizenjo was in trouble after the Jamiat ul Ulema e Islam (JUI) demanded attractive portfolios.

“JUI F demands attractive ministries”, Mr. Achakzai told reporters. He noted that it was very difficult for the Chief Minister to withdraw portfolios from his own party members. His remarks have come after the mainstream opposition party i.e. JUI F lawmakers gathered in Islamabad to meet Maulana Fazal ur Rehman to seek his consent about their participation in the coalition government.

The religious party is yet to make a formal announcement in this regard. However, sources said the party has been seriously considering the option of becoming an ally in the Mir Quddus Bizenjo-led government in Balochistan.

“There is no opposition in Balochistan Assembly”, Asghar Achakzai said. He said JUI F and Balochistan National Party (Mengal) had already extended their full support to the CM Balochistan in the no-confidence motion.

Asghar Achakzai said that the religious party was least bothered about the miseries of the people of Balochistan rather they were striving to get attractive ministries. “We would raise our voice against every justice”, he stated.
