At least seven people were injured in a bomb explosion on Quetta’s Mecongi Road. Police sources said the armed accused lobbed a hand grenade at a shop and wounded seven people. The injured were rushed to civil hospital Quetta for medical treatment.

An emergency was imposed in the hospital to provide medical treatment to the injured by the blast. Police reached the spot as an investigation into the incident went underway.

The blast also smashed the glasses of the shop. Panic prevailed in the area after the blast. A crowd of people also gathered on the spot after the incident. However, police dispersed the people and started an investigation into the incident.
