Three siblings killed as truck runs over flood victims in Badin Sindh

In a shocking incident, three siblings were killed as a truck loaded with relief goods ran over flood victims in the Badin district of Sindh province. The flood-affected people were sleeping on the roadside when the truck ran over them in the wee hours of Friday.

The unfortunate siblings were displaced by the floods and had sought refuge on the roadside when the tragedy struck.

Police rushed to the spot soon after the incident was reported as flood victims blocked the road. Officials arrested the driver and the conductor, and also seized the vehicle as around 40 people continued the protest.

Golarchi Station House Officer (SHO) Asghar Halepoto identified the driver as Zainullah and the conductor as Noor Gul, reiterating that the vehicle in question had been impounded.
