QUETTA: A 13-year-old boy from Balochistan’s Killa Saifullah district, Ikramullah finally got admission to the Lawrence College Marri. Ikramullah had impressed Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif during his visit to the flood-affected Killa Saifullah almost a month ago. “Dreams came true”, Noor Sail, the father of Ikramullah told Daily Quetta Voice via telephone. Lawrence College is considered to be one of the prestigious educational institutions across the country.

The talented boy asked the Premier to enroll him in a well-reputed educational institution rather than giving a tent or blanket. “My request is quality education not food”, Ikramullah told the visiting premier.

The bold stance and honest approach of the minor boy prompted the Prime Minister to announce free education for him. “My son got admission in class 8 in Lawrence College Marri”, Noor Sail, the father of the minor boy confirmed to Daily Quetta Voice.

Ikramullah got 81 percent out of 100 percent in mathematics, science, Urdu and English subjects, Noor Sail informed. Noor Sail is a watchman in the health department government of Balochistan at Killa Saifullah.

The government of Balochistan provided a vehicle to Ikramullah from Islamabad to Marri, Noor Sail mentioned.
