From Our Correspondent:

At least four children were injured in a firing incident outside a Christian colony in Balochistan’s Mastung district on Monday evening. The children were playing outside the Colony when attacked by armed accused.

Police sources said armed motorcyclists opened fire and injured four children. The injured children were rushed to Shaheed Ghous Bakhsh Raisani hospital for medical treatment.
The attackers sped away on their motorcycles after the attack. Police and people of the area reached the spot after the attack.
Members of the Christian community were angered by the incident and they blocked the road to vent their anger. Senior administration officials held negotiations with the enraged members of the Christian community and assured the arrest of the culprits behind the attack.

After successful negotiations, the protesters reopened the road for traffic. Panic prevailed in the area in the aftermath of the attack on the children. Deputy Commissioner Mastung and other high-level officials visited the Nawab Ghous Bakhsh Raisani hospital to inquire about the health condition of the injured children.
