Tehsildar Dobandi district Killa Abdullah was killed in a firing incident on Sariab Road Quetta on Monday morning.
Police sources said armed men opened fire on a vehicle and killed Haji Abdul Sattar Mashwani was killed. Another levies official identified Sarwar Bangulzai survived the attack.
The assailants escaped unhurt from the spot. Rescue workers shifted the dead body to civil hospital Quetta.
Police reached the spot as an investigation into the incident went underway. Reason behind the incident couldn’t be ascertained.
