Quddus Bizenjo elected President Manzoor Kakar as GS of BAP

QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Quddus Bizenjo was elected as the President and Senator Manzoor Kakar was elected as the General Secretary of Balochistan Awami Party (BAP). Mr. Bizenjo’s faction of BAP held its own council session on Sunday at the Boy Scouts Headquarters. Former Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan has convened his faction’s council session on August 9th.

The CM Bizenjo and Senator Kakar were elected unopposed, a statement issued by the ruling party said. Similarly, Sardar Saleh Bhootani was elected as the provincial president of BAP and Noor Muhammad Dumar as the General Secretary of the party.

“We will fight for Balochistan’s rights at all forums”, CM Bizenjo told party workers after his election as the BAP president. He said the party would strive for the acquisition of the rights of the people of Balochistan on provincial and national levels.
