A police constable was injured in a firing incident in Balochistan’s Khuzdar district on Wednesday. Police sources said the armed accused opened fire on the police constable on Sultan Ibrahim road Khuzdar.
The police constable identified as Inayatullah was seriously injured. The injured policeman was rushed to civil hospital Khuzdar for medical treatment.
The attackers escaped unhurt from the spot. Police reached the spot of the incident as an investigation into the incident went underway. There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
In the past, militants have repeatedly attacked security personnel and pro-government politicians in Khuzdar.
