QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Quddus Bizenjo visited the Central Police Office on Wednesday and pinned a badge of promotion to the Inspector General of Police Balochistan, Mohsin Hassan Butt. Mr. Butt was promoted from grade-21 to grade-22 by the federal government a few days back.
Provincial ministers Mir Ziaullah Langove, Zamarak Khan Achakzai, Naseebullah Marri, and other high-ups also accompanied the CM. CM was presented with a guard of honor upon his arrival at the CPO. Mohsin Hassan Butt briefed Mr. Bizenjo about the Command and Control System.
He said that in the style of the Safe City project in Lahore, work is being done on complete updated software regarding security in Command and Control Center at Central Police Office which will be linked to several districts in the next phase soon.
Mohsin Hassan Butt said that with the help of modern technology for the prevention of crime, great success can be achieved and the said Command and Control Center is a link in this thinking. The Chief Minister appreciated the efforts of the police for maintaining law and order and assured full cooperation from his side. Later, a commemorative shield was presented to Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo by the Police Department.
