Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani taking oath from the newly appointed federal cabinet

Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani administered the oath to the 37-member federal cabinet on Tuesday in the federal capital. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was also present during the oath-taking ceremony.

The oath-taking ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran at the President’s House. Thirty-one federal ministers and three ministers of state and as many advisers to the prime minister took the oath.

According to details, Maryam Aurangzai has been appointed as the federal minister for information and broadcasting. Azam Nazeer Tarar has been appointed as the federal minister for law.

Ahsan Iqbal has been appointed as the federal minister for planning. Rana Sanaullah was appointed as the federal minister for interior and Hina Rabbani Khar as the federal state minister for foreign affairs.
