District and Session Judge Pishin has convicted an accused involved in the cold-blooded murder of his wife to life imprisonment. Judge Jamshaid Khan announced the judgment and fined the accused Rs. 6lakh also.
Levies had arrested the accused Sardar Muhammad son of Ameer Muhammad, the resident of Dobandi district Killa Abdullah for killing his wife. In June 2020, the accused had killed his wife for not giving birth to a boy. The woman had given birth to three daughters.
The woman belonged to Barshore area of district Pishin. Levies force was quick to arrest the culprit involved in the cold-blooded murder of the accused.Â
The cold-blooded murder of a woman sparked protests in Quetta to mount pressure on the authorities to apprehend the culprit involved in the murder. This incident had come a week after a woman was tortured to death in a similar incident in Balochistan’s Muslim Bagh area.
