A blast has injured seven people in Balochistan’s Usta Muhammad town on Thursday evening. The bomb went off near the Machli bridge area of Usta Muhammad. The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. “It was a gas cylinder blast”, Razzaq Khan Khajjak, Deputy Commissioner Jaffarabad said. “All the injured are civilians and they suffered minor injuries”, Mr. Khajjak said.
An emergency was imposed in the area to provide medical treatment to the injured of the blast. The blast was heard throughout the town, causing panic in the area.
This blast has come two days after a suicide blast martyred five security personnel in Balochistan’s Sibi city. The outlawed Islamic State (IS) had claimed the responsibility for the attack.
