A couple was brutally murdered for a love marriage in the name of ‘honor’ in Balochistan’s Mastung district on Saturday morning. Police sources said the couple was brutally murdered in Killi Kongarh Mastung. They had done a love marriage three years back, Muhammad Younas, the Station House Officer (SHO) Mastung stated.
The accused had entered the house of the victims in the late-night and brutally murdered them, Mr. Younas said. The accused had escaped unhurt from the spot. The victims have left two daughters and a minor son. No arrest was made in connection with the killing of the couple, the SHO said.
Dead bodies were rushed to nearby hospital
The dead bodies were rushed to a nearby hospital. A large number of people reached the hospital as the dead bodies were brought. ‘Honor’ killing has claimed scores of precious human lives in various parts of Balochistan. Such incidents are rampant in the Naseerabad and Jaffarabad districts of the province.
This incident has come two days after a husband killed his wife and nephew in the name of honor in Balochistan’s Dera Allah Yar. Police arrested the accused and registered a case against him.
